Our school environment had a few amazing additions this week with art sculptures displayed for all to view. There were all sorts of bug, beetles, flowers and even buildings on display.
Room 14 recycled tin cans to make some colourful wind chimes while Room 13 and 19 decorated our trees with colour.
The Year Three tree of hands reminds that is takes all our hands to care for our environment.
This week all of or Year Six students took part in a bike safety programme with Constable Gordon to learn about how to be safe when riding their bikes.
As a recent walk to school promotion, children who walked to school added their names to one of our walkers trees. It was great to see so many people that walk to school each day.
Check out the absolutely HUGE vegetables growing in our gardens. These cauliflowers just keep getting bigger!! We wonder what delicious food will be made from them.
We have 4 very hungry hungry bins that are full of hungry worms. They love eating our leftover food scraps and turn them into delicious food for our gardens. A big thank you to those people who even bring in food scraps from home to help feed our worms!
Last week the students in Room 13 and 14 got very busy in the garden. They planted vegetables such as lettuces, beetroot and carrots that they hope to eat at the eat of the term.
