Avenue Art Amble

Our school environment had a few amazing additions this week with art sculptures displayed for all to view.  There were all sorts of bug, beetles, flowers and even buildings on display.
Room 14 recycled tin cans to make some colourful wind chimes while Room 13 and 19 decorated our trees with colour.

The Year Three tree of hands reminds that is takes all our hands to care for our environment.

Our Walkers Trees grew and grew

As a recent walk to school promotion, children who walked to school added their names to one of our walkers trees. It was great to see so many people that walk to school each day.
Well done to everyone involved!

Gigantic Veges at VAS!

Check out the absolutely HUGE vegetables growing in our gardens. These cauliflowers just keep getting bigger!! We wonder what delicious food will be made from them.

Worm News

We have 4 very hungry hungry bins that are full of hungry worms. They love eating our leftover food scraps and turn them into delicious food for our gardens. A big thank you to those people who even bring in food scraps from home to help feed our worms!
